Know Thyself: An Intro to Ayurveda
with Jacqui and Lindsey

Mondays June 4 - 25
7:00-8:30pm

Ayurveda, which means “The Science of Life” is an ancient healing system stemming from India which believes optimum health is derived from a balanced body, mind and soul. As a sister theology to yoga, over the past 5,000 years, Ayureveda has helped millions of individuals to understand what types of activites, food and impressions can help align them with their own natural constitution.

This course will provide a brief window into the core values of the system and allow students to see how it’s principles resonate uniquely within. Teachers Jacqui and Lindsey will help to describe and identify the 3 “doshas”, how these can relate to and create physical or emotional imbalances in ourselves and how to use nutrition, yoga and lifestyle to counteract our tendancies to swing out of balance.

$60+HST • 10% discount to Kula Unlimited Members

Know Thyself: An Intro to Ayurveda

The Art of Pilates - June 5-26

Christine Fortier
For many years before becoming a Pilates Teacher, I didn’t understand what ʻfinding your center meant. If I was that way, it was more often by accident than intentional. I began practicing The Art of Pilates in 2002, and teaching in 2003. It was very clear to me in the beginning that the only way I was going to strengthen my body more efficiently, and to create a more balanced life, was to begin from the inside, and work my way out. I believe that the only way we can achieve optimal health is to dig deeper, challenge not only your body, but your approach on how you move, breathe, and think.
